For those of us who struggle with healthy eating, support and encouragement from others is an essential part of transforming our current eating habits into new healthy eating habits.
Others just like us struggle with this every day and it can be helpful to learn about their experiences. Think of it as an online support group.
There may be issues that are so personal that you feel too shy or embarrassed to discuss them with those around you.
Each one of us is different. What is meaningful to you may not work for me and vice versa. That's why everyone's contribution is so important. You never know when something you tell us here will "click" for another person.
Depression is common among those who deal with food and other diet related health issues. Having a place to go for support can help you learn new coping skills and motivate you to stick to the eating program you have established for yourself to help eliminate depression.
How have you handled food and eating issues currently or in the past? Have you had a minor victory or maybe a major success?
Tell us about it. Are you having difficulties and looking for encouragement? Tell us about that, too.
Your success is an encouragement to others and it's reassuring to know that you are not alone in your struggles.
